While casual dressing had good intentions, some people took it to the extreme by coming in to work in not so appropriate clothes. Track pants, sneakers, low-cut tops, tattered jeans do not fit well into a work environment and managers face a challenge in getting employees to dress appropriately.

You could actually enjoy putting this plan together. Once you have your plan, you then identify clothes and accessories that you already have that fit into your plan. You can then have a list of things that you need to get.
Not time to go shopping yet. Wait till there is a sale. Take your list along and look for bargains that match items on your list. This will help you stay within your budget. Do remember that you are there only to get the items in your list. Avoid impulse buying.
The other idea is to let your family and friends know what presents you would like for your birthday or Christmas. Great way of getting things you need without spending money.
